As individual believers benefit from fellowship in a local church, so local churches profit from fellowshipping with other churches of like faith and order.  Hebrews 10:24-25; Psalm 133:1.

The churches of the New Testament enjoyed some type of fellowship or association.  II Corinthians 8:9-11, 18-19; Romans 15:25, 26; Revelation 1:4.

Berea Baptist enjoys fellowship in the following Associations which do not infringe upon or violate the sovereign independence of the local churches.

1.  Hebron Association of Regular Baptist Churches (HARBC) is a local greater Cleveland area fellowship.  It is composed of about 30 churches and meets once a year for a conference.  There are monthly pastors' meetings and monthly youth rallies.

2.  Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches (OARBC) is a state fellowship.  It is composed of about 165 churches in Ohio and meets once a year for a conference during the month of October.  The OARBC representative is Dr. David Warren.  A council of 12 men elected by the churches cares for the association business.

3.  General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC) although a separate entity, is similar to the State Association, except it is on the national level and has 1,330 churches in its fellowship.  The official magazine is THE BAPTIST BULLETIN, 1300 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg, Illinois 60195.  Our National Representative is Rev. John Greening.  All the churches are invited to an annual conference at the end of June.  A council of 18 men elected by the churches carries out association business.

4.  American Council of Christian Churches (ACCC) is a group of fundamental churches which maintains offices in Valley Forge, PA, and represents us sometimes on national issues.  They help with chaplaincy placements and delicate government matters for missionaries.
